Two charged in 1997 strangulation of transgender woman in Bronx (Bronx, New York, USA, 24 August 2018)

Summary

Twenty-one years after a transgender woman was strangled with an electrical cord, her body wrapped in a blanket with a bag over her head and dumped on a Bronx street, two men have been arrested for murdering her, police sources said Friday.

Amanda White, 20, was found at E. 173rd St. and Boston Road on March 11, 1997.
